Making An Appointment
When calling the salon, please inform the front desk that you are booking for the Head Spa so as to not be mistaken for other services such as haircuts, color, or other kinds of treatment.
First time guests can only make appointments for the current month. We start accepting appointments on the 1st of the month. If the 1st of the month falls on a Monday when the salon is closed, appointments will start on the next business day. Availability will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. The books will open exactly at 10am and we will not start taking calls until 10am. Any voicemails made before 10am will be disregarded to honor the first come, first serve policy. Please note that we would require a deposit upon booking. Without a paid deposit, the appointment will be considered invalid and not completed.
Please note that due to high demand, availability can be very limited and appointments fill up extremely quickly. For the best chance of securing an appointment, we recommend visiting the salon in-person or calling right when the salon opens at 10am on the 1st of the month. As there may be a high volume of guests calling at once, If you receive a busy signal, that means all of our phone lines at the salon are in use and we are currently helping other guests. In this situation, please try to call again later.
Clients who have been to our Head Spa before will be allowed to book their follow-up appointments in advance.
* Blow outs are not included in Head Spa services and have to be requested if desired. Otherwise, a simple rough dry will be offered. Please visit our FAQ page. MASA.KANAI will not be liable for any misunderstandings for questions already answered on our website. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out.
Credit Card Deposit
A 50% deposit is required upon reservation. MASA.KANAI has a 24 hour policy. If you need to make any changes to a scheduled appointment - whether cancelling, rescheduling, or changing what was booked, we kindly ask that you give us at least 24hr notice and we would be more than happy to refund the deposit. If any changes are made within 24hr, we would unfortunately have to keep the 50% deposit as a service fee. If you decide to do a different session than what was originally booked or you request that the service ends earlier than scheduled, you will still be liable for paying the cost of the original service that was booked if the requested change was made within 24hr of the appointment time. Tardiness
Please note that MASA.KANAI cannot guarantee service for any customer that arrives more than 15min late. We may try to provide a shortened session if possible; however, the customer will still be expected to pay the price of the original service. If no service can be accommodated to a late customer, MASA.KANAI reserves the right to keep the 50% deposit as a penalty fee. If no service can be accommodated and this becomes a rerunning issue with the late customer, MASA.KANAI reserves the right to charge a 100% penalty.
No Show
If a customer fails to show up to an appointment without any prior notice, MASA.KANAI will charge 100% of the intended service. The customer is responsible for honoring the appointment, regardless of whether or not a reminder message is received.
